This is a turn of the century Koken Model 118 Barber Pole that has a wall mount. It still has the wind up motor. When we acquired this barber pole it was on a post and it did run. It weighs a hefty 135 lbs and if your going to mount it on the wall make sure it is reinforced. It appears to have been painted with a light coat at one time and the porcelain under the paint looks good. The dimensions are 48"X 18".
